Hey Mama,
If you’ve made your way to this page, I’m assuming we are a lot alike. We are just a couple of moms wanting pictures with our kids. Pictures that capture the tiny details you never want to forget. Details of your children, of you, and of your infinite, unconditional love. Something that showcases your motherhood journey – wonderful, terrifying, beautiful, tiring, empowering, lonely, full. Whatever the reason that makes us want to remember it all, how special would it be to have captured the memories that remind us of where we’ve been?
My family is complete. We are finally sleeping through the night and the days seem a little faster now. Immediately my heart aches for the endless days when my kids were babies. I reminisce over moving my two year old son to his “big boy bed” for the first time awaiting the day the vacant crib would welcome a new baby - knowing “round two” of infanthood was yet to come. Then I remember my first baby holding my second while they were little enough for me to hold them, too. Now my kids are both asleep by 7:45 every night and I long for them to wake up so we can start new. The memories are so clear now, but I never want to forget.
I’ve captured hundreds of photos of my family. Some selfies, some left to my husband’s best composition judgement, and lots of self-timers, but there are rare opportunities to capture motherhood from the outside looking in. Becoming a motherhood photographer was about wanting to give more opportunities to other moms, like me, that want to be pictured and remembered as part of it all. I’d love to be the mom behind the lens to capture the timelessness of motherhood for you, no matter what it looks like.
Love Always,
Katie
